Halto

Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Halto is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies. The notes below say plainly what the app does and does not promise.

What Halto does

Halto uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to cover apps, categories and websites you choose with a shield, on a schedule, after a daily limit, or during a focus session.

What it cannot promise

Halto is a self-control tool, not a security product. iOS lets you turn Screen Time access off in Settings and lets you delete Halto at any time, and we cannot prevent either. Apple invokes our extensions when the device is in use, so blocks and unlocks can be a little late. We never claim a block is impossible to bypass.

Subscriptions

Halto Pro is available as a yearly subscription (with a free trial for new subscribers), a weekly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or from Manage subscription inside the app.

Your data

Halto collects nothing. See the Privacy Policy.
